Assistant Professor Chrystelle Bernard won the 2nd Hyogo / Kansai Caterpillar STEM Award "Special Jury Prize"

Assistant Professor Chrystelle Bernard (Concurrent Researcher of ELyTMaX) of the Division for Frontier Sciences was awarded the 2nd Hyogo-Kansai Caterpillar STEM Award "Special Jury Prize". The award is intended to help the Caterpillar Akashi Plant accelerate Japan's innovation capabilities, particularly in the Kansai region, mainly in Hyogo Prefecture, where the Hydraulic Excavator Division has a design center and manufacturing facilities. It was created with the aim of training and supporting engineers, and was judged from the perspective of a future-oriented idea project for the sustainable development of Japan and the world.
